What about real cavemen?[edit]

It's disappointing, irritating, and silly that neither this page nor the "Caveman" article seems to have a clear link to something on the serious subject of the prehistoric human beings who indeed lived in caves or ventured into them in profoundly lasting ways (their remains, fire pits, art, &c.). — President Lethe (talk) 01:16, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I see your point, but I suppose the thing is there are very many articles about early modern humans, neanderthals, homo erectus, etc., but the word "caveman" is just a pop culture conflation with no clear scientific meaning, so I'm not sure what to do about the problem you point out. Finally got around to it. See "Cave dweller". — President Lethe (talk) 23:19, 5 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Grants Pass[edit]

Is in Oregon not New York. I'd change this myself, but I'd probably screw up the links. Oh, and BTW, the GPHS link does link to the school in Oregon which does use the Caveman as a mascot. Wschart (talk) 22:02, 12 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
