[Untitled][edit]

I uploaded excellent photos I took illustrating cataract bogs. I was willing to have the photos associated with this article, but was not willing to put them into the public domain, so they will be automatically removed Monday, April 23. I think the policy needs to be revised, to take into account situations like this. In other words, why not acknowledge there are degrees of permission to use a piece of intellectual property. Other than fair use and public domain, there can be licensed use, which in this case would be used by permission of the copyright owner, which is me. I don't know where to go in Wikipedia to advocate for this change. I am disappointed that my photos can't be used to illustrate the new article on Cataract Bog, but but Wikipedia's requirements are unreasonable and unnecessary.
