Merge With XXXX[edit]

I do not believe that this page should be merged with XXXX. This article is about the actual brewery located in Milton, Brisbane and discusses the location and history of the site. The XXXX article is about the company. I have removed the merge template as it has been there for 3 months. Rimmeraj 05:41, 19 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Rename[edit]

Instead of merging, should this article be renamed to signify that it is about the landmark / location of the brewery, not the company.

who will be the one brave enough to mention the distinctive smell that the brewery lets loose in the Milton area? 203.14.156.192 01:29, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Is there any press/media regarding this? --Mikecraig 01:32, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's just the smell of malt produced during sparging and the subsequent boil of each wort. Any brewery smells the same. No press that I've seen, just a notable feature of living in the surrounding area. On a seperate note, if the list of beers is meant to be a list of beers actually still brewed at the brewery, arent Carbine Stout and a few other non-fourex branded beers brewed there? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.49.142.203 (talk) 14:49, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rename as XXXX brewery[edit]

I think many people (particularly younger people) won't recognise the Castlemain Perkins name and, in any case, CP no longer own it. Alo the brewery's own website call it XXXX Brewery and XXXX Alehouse (apart from the COVID notices where they spell it with only 3 Xs but I think that's a typo!) Obviously the CP name should be include as a historic alternativ name. What do others think? Kerry (talk) 09:39, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
