List of vessels[edit]

I have added the names of builders and construction dates for the majority of these vessels. I have also changed the pennant numbers for those vessels built in the UK and transferred to the Royal Canadian Navy, as they were referenced under their RN names but their RCN pennant numbers! Please note that all pennant numbers were changed along with their names when the vessels were transferred to the RCN. Rif Winfield (talk) 05:30, 28 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Bridgenorth Castle"?[edit]

I can't be sure so haven't edited, but if this ship was intended to be named after the place in Shropshire, then it should be Bridgnorth, without an E. Loganberry (Talk) 15:54, 4 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What's the use of long list of individual cancelled ship details ?[edit]

Why clutter up the article with stuff that never existed ? Just state nn were ordered but cancelled and leave it at that. Rcbutcher (talk) 00:32, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The list of cancelled ships is pertinent to the general history of the class. 94.175.130.112 (talk) 00:08, 25 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Armament[edit]

I heard that Castle class ships had two 40 mm Bofors guns on a bridge above the engine room instead of two twin 20 mm Oerlikons, as you can see on a drawing at the internet. Is it true that they were equipped with such guns? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.184.245.140 (talk) 10:15, 17 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
