Cartwheel → Cartwheel (disambiguation) – Primary topic for Cartwheel is literally the wheel of a cart, and everything else derives from that. I believe there is a tenable article on this topic. Not sure if we look at other wp, de:Wagenrad just redirects to wheel. Here on en.wp cart wheel redirects to wheelwright. For most of mankind's history all wheels were wooden, but now we're in the specialist reserve of a wheelwright. Wouldn't cartwheel's content already exist in wheel/wheelwright? Comment I agree wheelwright covers cartwheel content (at least to the extent of any article I would write) though it didn't mention 'cartwheel' per se (I have now non disruptively added the word 'cartwheels' in the article). So I think this dab page should have a link to wheelwright via a redirect page. I agree original usage is not necessarily the primary topic, but it is difficult to find an alternate name for the cartwheel (wheel of a cart). I don't like the (redirect) article name 'Cart<space>wheel' as it is incorrect. Would a compromise be a line such as Cartwheel, the wheel of a cart that may be made or repaired by a wheelwright ? or does that give us problems. I'm also of the opinion that should the Cart wheel be developed into an article that a move of that this page to 'Cartwheel (disambiguation)' and 'Cart wheel' to 'Cartwheel' be reconsidered at that point but that would be for the future.Djm-leighpark (talk) 16:15, 31 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
