Casino Boss[edit]

I would argue that the section on Casino Boss should not be included. This was apparently a TV pilot written by Dean DeLullo (the casino's owner) that was shown on the local cable station but never picked up by any network for production. It is somewhat self-aggrandizing to describe this as a "movie", implying that the film ever received noteworthy distribution. I invite Aspeaks77 (as the editor who added, and then restored, this paragraph) as well as any other editors to weigh in on why this material should be retained or not. I found a few sources for this,[1][2][3][4] but that's about it. It appears to be a sitcom that shot several episodes at the casino, and was then turned into a movie. I don't know if it's worth mentioning in the article. If it were retained, I'm not sure that it needs its own section. I think it's brief enough to fit in the history section. Half of the comedians listed in the Casino Boss section are locals with no Wikipedia article, so I think they should at least be removed.  AJFU  (talk) 21:19, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The reporting on Casino Boss is all over the map. There is no IMDb page for the project, and the article fails to mention Joe Piscopo as a star. I suspect the project shot one pilot (with or without Piscopo), and then fell apart. I really don't think this merits mention. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 11:56, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Awful Awful Burger[edit]

To read this article, one would assume that the "Awful Awful Burger" orginated at and exists only at the Carson Nugget, but that appears to be untrue.[1] As the Carson Nugget is just one of several outlets where this delicacy is served, it's inclusion in this article seems superfluous, and somewhat promotional. According to some sources, the Carson Nugget offers its own version of the burgers,[2][3] and it is now the only place that still sells them.[3][4] Perhaps that makes it more noteworthy for inclusion. I don't feel strongly about keeping or deleting the info, but I agree that it's misleading and should at least be clarified. Since it's a popular item, a brief mention of it might be acceptable, but I don't think it needs an entire section. It could be trimmed down to a couple sentences and moved to the history section.  AJFU  (talk) 21:19, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that the present treatment gives it WP:UNDUE weight. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 11:29, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
