Conlict of Interest[edit]

Sports Writing[edit]

I'd like to pose the following question: is this section necessary? I mean, is what this author doing in relation to journalism and sports writing relevant enough to have an encyclopedia entry? Is he a good and original poet? -Yes. Is he an original sports writer? -I don't really know but looking through his January archive at "NotGraphs" I see a lot of Youtube videos and not a lot of writing. Some of it's actually quite good. Tangotiger calls Cistulli "one of the great baseball writers" (Got Milk?) and there's a reason for it. Poetic Inspiration[edit]

Can someone tell me more about how Carson Cistulli "plays with poetic inspiration"? I'm working on the French page and I'd be happy to include a section on this but I don't have a strong idea and it's not clear in this article. I see how the imprint deals with this but page 14? COI / Martin H[edit]

This is a general discussion place for concerns about COI in this article and specifically Martin H.'s recent edit on February 4th that "{{COI|date=January 2011}}. Molly81=Seancasey00, the IP looks also related. in 3 years this article was edited by only one person, COI problems here." and his statement at Wikicommons that "Seancasey00=Molly81. I cant help myself but this look like some very biiig conflict of interests to me, including edits like this trying to hide the COI".

1) The original COI problem last month was brought up by Hu12 in relation to concerns he had with the website FanGraphs being overly represented on Wikipedia (see this).

2) I am not a sockpuppet and neither is Sean.

3) It is not true that "in 3 years this article was edited by only one person" see this

4) I have talked to Sean and his work here, here and here was not trying to "hide" anything, was in address to these concerns about external links to FanGraphs.

5) I have no COI problems with this subject or any others that I have worked on.

6) If you have concerns about specific links to FanGraphs that are irrelevant or specific passages of this article please either mark them in the article/discussion or go ahead and make edits yourself. Again, the most helpful thing you can do if you have these concerns is to read the article and to point towards the parts that are bothering you.

I removed the following:
