Origin of the name[edit]

One of these is bound to be false, I think:

"Carp was a rail stop on the Carleton Place, Arnprior, Renfrew Pembroke line, CARP."

"(The Carp River) initially took its name due to the overwhelming amount of the carp fish that lived within it."
