Examples Of Each Type of Trap Fungi[edit]
Are there any specific fungi known to use each kind of trap so as to illustrate how each type of trap works? I know that Oyster mushrooms use the loop method but I have never seen/heard of the passive trap method.24.83.178.11 12:01, 18 May 2007 (UTC)BeeCier
Pleurotus does not use a loop-shaped trap, rather it has a toxic tipped hyphal branch. Unfortunately I do not have time to edit more right now. Heliocybe 12:55, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
