Carl B. Pomerance (?)[edit]

According to http://dl.lib.brown.edu/theses/theses.php?task=search&id=10708, another Carl Bernard Pomerance received his Ph.D. from Brown university in 1966 (A determination of imaginary quadratic principal ideal domains).--TeesJ (talk) 01:48, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The CV of Pomerance shows that he got his B.A. from Brown university in 1966. Consequently, the full name Carl Bernard belongs to this famous number theorist. 91.43.99.171 (talk) 16:59, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The URL for the reference to Pomerance's Erdös number was broken, so I replaced it with a valid link. The page that actually lists Pomerance's Erdös number is https://files.oakland.edu/users/grossman/enp/Erdos1.html, but since the form of that URL suggests it to be possibly brittle, I put in the URL http://www.oakland.edu/enp/, the main page for the Erdös Number Project. From there the data is easily found, but via a possibly more persistent URL.Satinlatin (talk) 06:48, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
