Emergency quadruple amputation needed[edit]

Some time ago I cut a huge amount of blather from this article. It still needs to be cut by about 2/3 at the very least. It's grossly overdetailed, stylistically like a true-crime magazine, somewhat arch in its we-today-know-better-than-those-blind-police tone, and much more. I've never commented or edited before, so I don't know how to do it. I've spotted two serious errors in this article, so I'm pointing them out here. I hope someone else will make the edits. First problem is the title. It should be "Career Girl Murders," not "Career Girls Murders." If you do a simple search on the New York Times website or on the Internet, "Career Girl Murders" will come up repeatedly. Also, the name of a journalist who played a key role in the story is misspelled. It should be "Selwyn Raab," not "Selwyn Rabb."----connieboyd

I love that the thrust of this article is all about the massive injustice done to the wrongly accused.........and not, of course, what is so common that we ignore it completely, that some man or men decided to murder a bunch of women for whatever reason. I agree to a point. The article's focus is way too much on a wrongly accused suspect rather than the murders themselves. It would be wiser to create his own page about his experience rather than put it here. I will remove what I feel is irrelevant to the murders themselves. Removed section on Charles' death[edit]

Come on people! This article is about the murders, not about Whitmore. His death does not deserve its own section here. If you want one, then write an article about him. Parole of Richard Robles[edit]

Just did a lookup on the NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision Inmate Lookup and yes, Robles was released 2020-05-21 [1]. But I can't link to the result; you have to type in his prisoner number 66 A 0003 to see the result. What's the best way to cite this? ciphergoth (talk) 04:30, 26 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
