Soviet Revisionism[edit]

"Mao contended that [...] the Soviet Union also fell to capitalist roaders from within the Communist Party after the death of Joseph Stalin." Also known as Mao's "batshit insane" period. Anyway, fine article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mqduck (talkcontribs) 11:58, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

notability[edit]

Is this a good topic for a WP article? It seems to be the translation of a Chinese expression. Is it used in the English language? Northwestgnome (talk) 04:50, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it is a good topic for an article. An important topic in 20th C Chinese history. Mostlyharmless (talk) 22:19, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It's all over the academic literature and history books.Sardino (talk) 19:49, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing Sentence[edit]

"Upon the death of Zhou Enlai, a popular Chinese politician, and public dissident to Deng's reforms, the late Mao backpedaled on his appointment and carried out a program the criticise Deng Xiaoping campaign." Mao couldn't have been late at that point, because he died after Enlai. Also, how could a late person (someone who is dead) backpedal? CryingInTheShower (talk) 14:19, 26 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
