On March 2011, it was proposed that this article be moved from capillary electrophoresis-mass spectrometry to capillary electrophoresis–mass spectrometry. The result of the discussion was move to en dash name per WP:ENDASH even though this is sometimes called a "hyphenated" technique.

This article was the subject of an educational assignment in Spring 2015. Further details were available on the "Education Program:Louisiana State University/CHEM 4558: Mass Spectrometry (Spring 2015)" page, which is now unavailable on the wiki.

B-class status[edit]

Hello Bijay! After reading through the article, I have a few areas of improvement that could potentially help move this article into a B class. The structure is looking great, but if you can add more information in the applications section, that would be ideal. For instance, maybe a how and why CEMS is used in biological studies (how was this found and by who, why is it so great for these studies, and what makes it better/worse than other methods).
