"No Submission"[edit]

People continue to add it, but I have yet to see where it was verified by Wayne (or anyone else, for that matter). Of all the responses I've read by Wayne from the message board, he's only said the album will sound like "No Submission", not that the song will actually be on the album. We're jumping to conclusions by assuming it will be on the album.

Please, if you add it back, respond to this with the source. I don't mind having it in there if it's correct, I just don't want incorrect information to be listed. Thanks guys. Enfestid 04:16, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Band lineup[edit]

I must take issue with the statement, "This album marks the fourth different recording lineup for Static-X." The lineup for the recording of Cannibal are the exact same people that recorded Start A War. I haven't removed the line (just lined through it), as I'm not totally sure about the etiquette for page edits, but hopefully this change will be made permanent soon.

edit: I have now removed the line. I didn't understand the rules, and clearly simply lining through a line, i.e. fence-straddling, helps no one. Therefore, I have removed the line, as I find it to be untrue.

leaked on P2P...[edit]

"The full album leaked onto peer-to-peer networks on March 26, 2007." I haven't removed this line yet as I'm wondering what other people think about it but in my opinion even though it is informative, it's potentially damaging to the band and should be removed. SmartSped 17:22, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

By that reasoning, all album articles that have similar lines should be removed. --71.156.91.87 13:06, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Static-X Cannibal 3.jpg[edit]

Image:Static-X Cannibal 3.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

"Team Hate" Prong connection?[edit]

The 1994 album "Cleansing" by Prong contains the song "Whose Fist Is This Anyway?", in which one of the lines is "Playing for the hate team"...does anybody know whether Static-X might have come up with "Team Hate" by way of inspiration from the Prong track? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.46.172.13 (talk) 11:20, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cannibal (Static-X album)Cannibal (album) –That is the ONLY album that has "Cannibal" specifically. Although there is Ke$ha's EP of the same name, it MUST be on that title. j3j3j3...pfH0wHz 07:04, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose alot of people call "records", "albums" and "EPs"/45s/LPs/etc all "album" or "record". 65.94.45.185 (talk) 09:35, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I will find ways for that. This template sample will help.

Anyway, specification is IMPORTANT. If it is an album, must be an album. If it is an EP, it MUST be an EP. The administrator will oppose this request if Ke$ha's EP is an album and an another article that has an album titled "Cannibal". If this request is unfulfilled, I will NOT force it again. j3j3j3...pfH0wHz 06:41, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
