Wrong photo[edit]

The photo at the end claiming to be of "Canarium album fruit at a market in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam" is clearly wrong. The fruit depicted is Dialium cochinchinense, known in Vietnamese as "trái xay" (or "quả xay"), while Canarium album is "quả trám".

Hello Takeaway: do we know who 82.1.109.143 is (and oh why do we go on permitting anonymous editing!)? I don't think (s)he is correct but will check (with colleague at Nong Lam University) - and see vi: Canarium album. The records I have are:

Canarium album = Trám trắng - so would accept "quả trám" (fruit of ~) - and understood to be the local "olive"
Dialium cochinchinense = Xoay (Xây) - so "quả xay" possibly OK

I am setting up the appropriate page here and will attempt to place "Vietnamese ~" or "Chinese olive" appropriately when confirmed. As in other languages, local names can be vague at times ... Roy Bateman (talk) 07:44, 14 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
