Channel ten bad programming and decline in show popularity[edit]

This article should note that in 2012 channel 10 has had a serious decline in popularity and that Can of Worms is one of the shows affected, quite possibly by the original host quitting and the replacement host, Chrissie Swan, not succeeding in the host role. Ratings are around the 600,00 mark in 2012 with Chrissie Swan at the front ^[1] compared with 2011 ratings of 930,000 to 980,000 with Ian Dickson ^[2].

The significance is that this could end up being another show cancelled by channel ten for poor performance. Time will tell.
