The information in this article on Radio Engineering Products appears on numerous other sites that have pulled their information from this one. The poster has been permanently banned from Wikipedia.

I removed the following from the article:

"At the height of the Vietnam War, Radio Engineering Products, the publicly traded company founded by engineer Mark Fisher was a major employer in Campbellton as a result of its cutting-edge communications technology that the United States military urgently needed. (This information cannot be verified)"

Radio Engineering Products set up in the early 1960s, and according to people who worked there to whom I spoke it made radios which were purchased by the US military. Geography

According to this article, Campbellton was named for a place in Scotland. Its original name was indeed spelled Campbelltown, as is seen in historical documents, but the "Geographical Names of New Brunswick", by Alan Rayburn, Canadian Permanent Committee on Geographical Names,Ottawa, 1975, says "Named by Robert Ferguson 1833 for Sir Archibald Campbell (1769-1843) Lieut. Gov. of NB 1831-1837. Earlier called Cavenick's Point (or Kavanagh's Point), named for a settler from Ireland in 1816; later Quinton's Point; then Martin's Point for a shipbuilder. In Micmac [modern spelling Mi'kmaq] Wisiamkik, 'muddy place' in reference to stirring of sediment there in the narrowing of the Restigouche. In 1700, site called Pointe-des-Sauvages." Mislabelled photo

How does one change the photo caption on the photo of the train station? That is not the Intercolonial Railway station, which was on Roseberry St. That is the International Railway station, which faced onto what is now Victoria St. The skateboard park in Campbellton is on its site. 13,000 pop?

No citation is given for the assertion that Campbellton had a population approaching 13,000 at the time of incorporation, although citation is given for previous population numbers. Some source should be given. It seems unlikely it gained nearly 4,000 citizens in less than ten years, given that it did not take on any new territory until it became a city. Orphaned references in Campbellton, New Brunswick

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Campbellton, New Brunswick's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
