Regarding the delete of this page, I feel this does not qualify for automatic blanking/alteration to a redirect unless it redirects to a page where the information already exists. The information coming from 2 distinct news sources establishes it as genuine, and I don't feel it could be sensibly merged into World War II. With the definition sometimes used of notability on Wikipedia as "newsworthy", this would qualify, I feel. I do of course defer to the judgement of the community in general. As reviewing administrator, I think the article does not meet the criteria for speedy, which are limited to those in WP:CSD. The question is whether the sourcing is reliable. If it is, the article may be valid, or at the least can be merged. DGG (talk) 07:01, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
