Cam vs Cameron[edit]

All press, his Ranger's profile and his NHL profile seem to prefer the short form of Cam over Cameron. Pretty much only the listing on Hockey DB uses Cameron. Propose changing article name to reflect this. Any objections? Echoedmyron (talk) 20:47, 30 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

checkY I've boldly moved this article as suggested by Echoedmyron, and as supported by the sources. Dolovis (talk) 04:07, 1 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 11 May 2017[edit]

Under the section "Edmonton Oilers" the following line is present:

In 2017 In the final minutes of the 6th game of round two Ryan Kesler of the Anaheim ducks sat on Cam's pad so one he could not move to get the puck and two the Ducks scored so the refs need glasses and also need to Learn the rules of hockey. Ya you here that refs im calling you out fight me any day any time

This line of text does not fit with the rest of the page. It is an opinion (personally, as an Oilers fan, I believe it is a correct one), but it does not belong on this page. It is also inaccurate, the incident described happened in game 5 with :15 to go in the 3rd period. Kesler, held Talbot's pad, he did not sit on them. If it is deemed it can remain, the language, grammar, and spelling need to be cleaned up.

Thank you. Ve6erc (talk) 06:59, 11 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Solomon NOT Thomas[edit]

His middle name isn't Thomas, as proven by his own personal website for his brand. Heythereiguess (talk) 05:13, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Heythereiguess: What website would that be? I can't find it. There are some sources that say "Solomon", unlike Thomas, but I'm hesitant to add anything marginally reliable with the name, lest it turn out that the middle name was just an instance of citogenesis, as has happened before with hard-to-find middle names. (also pinging Beaviwi for the same reason: do you have a reliable, published source for that middle name?) Vahurzpu (talk) 02:35, 17 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
