Single performance, and relevance to GTA[edit]

Original line stated; "Despite its rather poor performance from its original release the song was included on the soundtrack for the popular PS2 game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City in 2003". Last I noticed the game is produced by Brits (Scots to be exact) for whom the single achieved #12. Even so, quite what relevance this has to the soundtrack I'm not entirely sure. Are all the tracks picked on chart performance alone? Edited out.--Koncorde 23:00, 11 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"...does not sample" the Blondie song, revised...[edit]

I just felt that the song, which is one of my favorites by this band, deserved a bit more explanation as to its differences with the Blondie song. Blondie is great too, and I love that song as well, but I prefer Go West's "Call me." Some people aren't aware that titles are not copyrightable. Although I felt that it was unnecessary to point this out specifically, I did want to explain that the song stands on its own.

I suspect too that many people think of Go West as poppy fluff, best-suited for 80s rehash video games and VH1 "I love the 80s" episodes. Maybe that is true, but the sound that these guys helped to bring about in 1985 will always stay with me. There is something very cool and interesting about that big, over-blown production sound. I still love these guys! Great stuff.

Anyway, if you feel that you need to continue revising this part of the article, then go to it. I don't even own the album in question, although I have played GTA VC about a zillion times. I have even "pulled over to the side of the road" in the game to listen to that song when it comes on the radio.
