I keep wondering, why on heaven is someone constantly willing to remove wikipedia entry to de facto best gentoo-based precompiled distribution that has extreme popularity in Russia? This is total nonsense!

Incorrect URL for distro's official website (should be .org)[edit]

I tried to correct the two calculate-linux.com links on this page to the distro's official website calculate-linux.org (as given on DistroWatch), but the correct web url is said to be on Wikipedia's spam blacklist. What should be done regarding this? Annoyamouse (talk) 08:37, 30 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I can find no reason to blacklist the website and I am having difficulty identifing where it is blacklisted. Perhaps someone knows how to remove the blacklisting or can say why it was added to the list? Qpalxm27 (talk) 18:35, 25 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have checked it and the blocking blacklist is the following: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Spam_blacklist Paul Zeiger (UU) (talk) 17:01, 27 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The removal on the corresponding Talk page was granted: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:Spam_blacklist

ALSA vs Pulse Audio?[edit]

The article poses that one can choose between Pulse Audio and ALSA, but from what I can find, it seems you need ALSA to have audio support, or else PA wouldn't even work.
