Contested PROD[edit]

Dear Speedy Deletion Person- I believe that the CTA Holiday Train is a valuable entry as it is a well known Chicago landmark/event. It is sponsored by the Chicago Transit Authority. And sighting of the train is a holiday tradition on par with viewing the lighting of the Tree at Rockefeller Center. This was a Requested Article. I have already found several authentic sources (newspaper articles and CTA resources.) Furthermore, the article can include subsections on History, Description, Cultural Impact, and Controversy, which will be put up shortly.Sharkswlazers (talk) 19:58, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I'm not going to delete the article yet, but that is dependant on its expansion so that it asserts its notability by citing sources that are reliable. Peter 16:42, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

Dec 2011 Wikify[edit]

I've attempted to start wikifying this page - using proper sourcing and sections. It still needs a lot of work. I'll try to dedicate more time to it over the next few weeks. I've also added some pictures. DR04 (talk) 21:04, 3 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
