WikiProject COVID-19[edit]

I've created WikiProject COVID-19 as a temporary or permanent WikiProject and invite editors to use this space for discussing ways to improve coverage of the ongoing 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic. Please bring your ideas to the project/talk page. Stay safe, ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:49, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for starting this up! Just this morning I was wondering if the numbers day by day were being recorded anywhere public, as the main webpage only shows that day's information. I'll garden where I can, but the page itself looks great! thanks! Sudo coffee (talk) 15:15, 26 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Government Response Section[edit]

Reading through much of what is currently included in the named section on the page, it seems most of this information is already, or could be, captured in the Timeline section. Although there is some information we would want to remain separate from timeline (such as the status of libraries), that could be it's own section, could it not? I agree, didn't want to presume to do the wholesale change myself if no consensus. MM8080 30 March 2020 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mm8080 (talkcontribs) 21:07, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Mm8080 for your response! What are other's thoughts or feelings in regard to this section? Take for instance today's (Mar 30) entry on both the Timeline and Government Response... it is almost exact, just paraphrased. It seems silly to reiterate the same information and unnecessarily elongate the article. Sudo coffee (talk) 23:36, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
After greater consideration on *what* exactly to do with the section prior to just bulldozing through it, I believe it's best replacement while still maintaining the great information collected on the Libraries would be to replace "Government Response" with "Public Services Impact", focusing on different aspects of Public service. I have no issue with going forward and completing this task myself, if no one objects? I'll give 4 days for response from time of this posting before moving forward with this. Addition of new section to article[edit]

Hello, I was thinking of adding a section detailing of the effect that this virus has had on the daily life of Marylander's. I would just like to know peoples opinions on this addition before I actually start to add it, or not if people deem it unneccessary, Thank you for your help, Aston 20:26, 29 March 2020 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Astonishments (talkcontribs)

I believe this would be a wonderful addition to the page! It most definitely is changing the way that we are behaving, socializing, learning, working, etc. and is worthy of documentation for future reference, in my opinion. Sudo coffee (talk) 23:33, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Lethality by gender and age?[edit]

Anyone willing to add a table like Template:COVID-19 pandemic data/Italy medical cases based on data at https://coronavirus.maryland.gov? Ain92 (talk) 15:01, 9 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
