Robert Kennedy[edit]

The source for Robert Kennedy authorizing the assassination attempts on Castro clearly states he "managed" the assassination attempts. And this is a just memo that relates Kissinger's hearsay from Helms (a perjurer). The following paragraph details that the CIA/MAFIA plotting began before Robert Kennedy had taken office. The reference to Robert Kennedy should be removed.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.72.242.38 (talkcontribs) 09:40, 24 June 2013‎ (UTC)[reply]

Yes, but they continued during the Kennedy administration.--Jack Upland (talk) 10:36, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

POV tag[edit]

The article gives undue weight to the claims of Fabián Escalante, the former head of Cuba's foreign intelligence, who has made various WP:REDFLAG claims over time (e.g. the CIA recruited Cuban exiles to kill Kennedy). Executive Order 11905 was signed by Ford in 1976, Executive Order 12036 was signed by Carter in 1978 and Executive Order 12333 was signed by Reagan in 1981; yet Escalante claims that Carter, Reagan, GHW Bush, and Clinton tried to kill Castro well over 200 times in that time period. Wikipedia can discuss this to the extent his claims are written about in reliable sources, but his propaganda shouldn't be taken at face value. -Location (talk) 01:23, 30 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The data is about plans for or assassination attempts under each administration. It does not specify how many may have been approved by each government or how many are by terrorist groups — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.6.68.115 (talk) 18:53, 15 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
