HD radio[edit]

In 2024, after installing their new Nautel transmitter, CFRQ began transmittting in HD. In this application, HD does NOT mean "High Definition". It is a trademark of https://hdradio.com/

The signal is still Frequency Modulated. Regards, ~~~~   Aloha27  talk  00:27, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The (HD Radio) tag in the info box is intended for use on stations transmitting HD sidebands regardless of AM or FM band. Yes, CFRQ is an FM station but it is now transmitting these digital sidebands. See other pages for an example: CHBE-FM, KIRO-FM, KRLD (AM), WWFD ---- DX Sphere (talk) 17:53, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
