This article is written in Canadian English, which has its own spelling conventions (colour, centre, travelled, realize, analyze) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. Article needs a lot of work[edit]

This article and the article for Télévision de Radio-Canada needs A LOT of work! Sure the article for Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is chalk full of info but the articles for the specifics on both televison networks despretly needs a lot of work done on them both! political and cultural mandate policies?[edit]

Can we get some content on the CBC's policies for handling election coverage, as well as the cultural content it carries (ie: why British television and English accents are tolerated on CBC, while other cultures are not).--Yakym 05:04, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

- Other cultures are not tolerated on CBC television?? I'm not too sure what you're talking about, Yakym. Turn on the CBC and I can assure you that other cultural groups are, to use your poor choice of word, "tolerated", on CBC. Heck, there is even a hit show called, "Little Mosque on the Prairie". It's so old...[edit]

Updated CBC HD section[edit]

I updated the CBC HD section to show that all CBC Television stations are broadcasting in digital and in HD and that the stations that were not listed converted to digital on August 31, 2011 except for Yellowknife which converted to digital on August 1, 2012 according to the article for CFYK-DT....ckhalil22 20:08 24 August 2014

Stereo Broadcasting on CBC Television[edit]
