I just completed some substantial clean-up on this page, and believe the tag can now be removed. Open to others thoughts on this. Alphaw00lf2000 (talk) 17:10, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It seems we have one dubious line in the article regarding Morell's eployer "The name of the island, "Byers", matches that of Morell's employer and ship owner, and as such this is the likely origin for the name". If there is no source or reference for that, I would be in favoring of getting rid of it. Besides that, I think we are good to remove the tag. After reviewing the references, it looks like the information in that line is found in two existing sources: in short from Sarah Laskow's article and at length in Morrell's book about the journey. I just added the inline citations, and I will remove the tag. AlexTheAwkward (talk) 16:37, 29 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
