Where are the references?[edit]

Why is most of this article unreferenced? Only the last paragraph seems to have a reference. Lester 05:30, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ford/Mazda[edit]

The Ford-Mazda model-sharing was not the result of the Button Plan. It pre-dated it by three years, and was not unique to Australia anyway. Quiensabe (talk) 02:54, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Ford was twinned with Nissan, got the Corsair, which was rubbish, and the Maverick which was excellent if truck like. Nissan took the Falcon Ute and I don't know what else. Ute buyers are tribal, a Nissan ute would have been hated. Greglocock (talk) 05:22, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What is this article about?[edit]

It starts off talking about the Plan - but wanders off into a discussion of rebadging, and never actually discusses the effects and outcome of the Plan. 24.16.181.1 (talk) 05:35, 6 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair point, but from memory rebadging was the only real outcome. And that failed. Greglocock (talk) 20:24, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
