Mayor name addition/correction[edit]

An anonymous user, with no recorded editing history, added the mayor parameter to the infobox but the name they added (Brent Glisan) didn't match the name on the current Bushnell government website (Robin Wilt), nor could I find any news sources confirming a change in mayor. But while I was on the government site I found out that my cousin is an alderman now. So, I emailed him to check and he said that Robin is still the mayor, but she's up for reelection, and Gilsan is running against her. In the spirit of presuming good intentions, I'll treat the original edit as a joke or prank.

So, instead of just reverting the change, I left the parameter in place and corrected the name. Obviously my email with my cousin isn't the source for that, it's the current Bushnell government website.

And because it's come up, I don't think I've actually done an edit on this page before, but I follow it because I spent a lot of time there growing up; my grandparents lived there for several years. And I obviously still have family there. That shouldn't present any conflicts of interest, but if any become apparent in the future, I'll make sure to specifically mention them on here.
