There is a slight difference between a bus topology and a line toplogy.

A line topology consists of clients (stations/nodes) which are connected directly to each other. In a bus topolgy, clients are not directly connected but share a bus cable.

There is no need for a merger, but a link should be made available to show that they are similar.

how to solve the problem[edit]

Let me say as i using the bus topology so if the one computer is broken the other can not work so the problem is and how to solve.

Use the STAR topology.--202.138.120.67 (talk) 10:42, 3 November 2011 (UTC)--202.138.120.67 (talk) 10:42, 3 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not quite sure what this is trying to say.[edit]

I don't edit Wikipedia very often so I am not sure what the procedure with this is but the page has a sentence reading: "A true bus network is passive –a host computer has one or two LANCARD in bus topology for connect the network." The second part of the sentence makes absolutely no sense, is completely grammatically incorrect and I have never seen "network interface cards" written as "LANCARD" before. Can I just take the entire sentence out?
