Burlington Junction is a small community. I have been there on several occassions visiting relatives. The downtown is almost vacant but there are a few shops, there's a small grocery store, a bank, an insuarnce office, the american legion building, and a few other small businesses. Housing is inexpensive and there are some very old and crumbling homes here as well. The old school was burned as well as the old Christian church building.

Some of the old family names for this community are:

Alderman, Bever, Boyer, Brown, Carden, Carter, Chamberlin, Colwell, Corken, Cottrill, Crane, Dixon, Darby, Davis, Edmonds, Evans, Ferguson, Graves, Griffey, Hackett, Harvey, Haulein, Hudson, Humphrey, Johnson, Manning, Meek, Miller, Nicholas, Noffsinger, Patterson, Ralston, Reed, Sexson, Smith, Taylor, Tobin, Westfall, Wilkinson, and Williams.
