Muromachi bugyō[edit]

It appears that the list in this article identifies Edo period bugyō; but at some point, the article might be expanded to includemore specific information about pre-Tokugawa shogunate officials? If so, this would become relevant:

Kinihara, Misako. The Establishment of the Tosenbugyo in the Reign of Ashikaga Yoshinori" (唐船奉行の成立 : 足利義教による飯尾貞連の登用), Tokyo Woman's Christian University: Essays and Studies. Vol. 44, No. 2, pp. 27-53.

I hope this link becomes useful at some point. --Tenmei (talk) 17:44, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see why we shouldn't include it now... That's a really interesting discovery. Do you have any info, from that article or elsewhere, that says when/why/how the position ceased to exist? And congrats on the name change. I like it. LordAmeth (talk) 21:34, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Alternative conceptual view of hierarchy relationships[edit]

Random chance led me to find these plausibly well-informed charts. Although the reference source which informs each chart image is not made clear in the image description data, the alternate view of relationships is worth noting here ... perhaps worth further investigation? perhaps not? --Tenmei (talk) 23:33, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
