Endemic or indigenous?[edit]

The opening sentence describes B. alternifolia as "endemic to Kansu, China, where it grows along river banks in thickets at elevations of 1,500 - 4,000 m", but the article also describes its successful cultivation elsewhere, including in the UK where there are no such habitats. According to the linked definition of endemic, it is not endemic if it lives elsewhere or in other habitat types, and indigenous would be more appropriate.
