Real Name[edit]

Since I've edited this post several times, only to have it revised to the way it was before my edits, I'll bring it up here. "Brother Ray"'s real name is Mark Lamonica, not Mark LaMonico as the article states. Several of the reference links even back up this point.

Real Name2[edit]

Even TNA Wrestling's blog says his name is Mark Lamonica. Why is the article totally edited to say LoMonaco?! I only just saw that last night!AndarielHalo 13:54, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you look on the US Patent & Trademark Office database, the trademark on the name "Brother Ray Deadly" is held by "Mark LoMonaco." The external links giving "Lamonica" could be (and I'd say are) simply perpetuating the same wrong information. 69.7.37.69 10:08, 18 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: Moved. FYI, WP:SNOW doesn't really apply here, because that concerns itself with things that clearly *won't* happen, (i.e. unanimous and unambiguous opposes) not things that apparently have unanimous support. Someone could have come in with a killer reason not to move in the last two days of listing, that would blow this out of the water. Obviously didn't happen here though. – WP:COMMON requires we use the most common name. Their ECW and WWF ring names are far more common than their TNA names, which were playing off on those names in the first place anyway. Also, there's no basis for using an obscure uncommon name such as their real names when there is a dispute about which name is most common. Mark lomonoco is from Dix Hills in the late 1980s[edit]

Mark Lomonoco is from Dix Hills, Suffolk County, New York. In high school he was on the football team and the track team. He was a shot putter on the track team. Discussing moving this page.[edit]

Anyway, because we have to make a rigamarole of everything apparently, I support moving the page to Bully Ray because while Bubba Ray Dudley may have been exposed to a wider stage, he's been Bully Ray as a singles star and by my math longer than he was as Bubba Ray Dudley.
