Fair use rationale for Image:Col bryant.gif[edit]

Image:Col bryant.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Merge Tupper the Bulldog[edit]

The Tupper the Bulldog article has been around since July 2007 and has never been sourced at all. There is no indication that Tupper is notable enough for his own article. I believe the topic will get more attention here than buried in its own article. I think the most logical place to merge it to is in the Bulldogs section. 00:56, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

Clean up needed[edit]

Recently I assessed the article from a Start Class, and started to clean up the article. It needs work and some TLC. To get the cleanup started I recently added some references and placed citation needed tags, there's a lot of info on the article that is informative and useful but needs sources. The article also had a lot of POV info, much of it I removed but others might be fact if verified and need reputable references. For more help on what info to include and how to write properly for Wikipedia, see WP:NPOV. Some more serious issues were also included in the article. There were a number of Copyright violations especially in the facilities section, in which pictures and prose were taken directly from the Athletics site, no citations, and for pics- no fair use claims. The article also had somesignificant factual inaccuracies particularly with the history and championship sections, basketball team did not win the 1966 NAIA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament, which was easily verified with a look at the year by year records http://static.psbin.com/2/t/2wcxp635jzwjnx/2006-07BryantMBKBGuide.pdf

There's still much work to be done finding sources to verify information any help would be appreciated. Please continue to edit the article but future information additions should be sourced properly. Thanks and happy editing! Bhockey10 (talk) 18:20, 8 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
