Needs better sources[edit]

  • This article has essay-like style and has many opinion statements and sweeping comments like "However Beatlemania was then the name of the game and the entire music industry world wide was in confusion as to the future of the industry."
  • Citations are not in-line so it's hard to tell where specific claims come from.
  • Several of the reference links are broken (already tagged), and some of them don't seem to have any relevance to the subject of the article (e.g. the page http://www.shownet.com.au/mgs.html doesn't even have the words "Bryan Davies" on it.)
  • Parts of the article may also be copypaste, e.g. the phrase "His clean-cut good looks and comparatively mellow rock style made him ideal for the TV pop shows of the era" comes directly from the first cited link (http://users.ncable.net.au/~ronjeff/top40/charts/Art%20data%20a001.htm) but is spliced into another phrase from elsewhere.
