"Bronchiolus" naming[edit]

I believe that "bronchiolus" and "bronchioli" are equivalent terms for this structure. Could someone confirm this, and, if so, redirect those pages (as of now nonexistent) to this page? Kriptyk (talk) 10:28, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merging subsections to this article[edit]

I think Primary bronchiole, Terminal bronchiole and Respiratory bronchiole can all be merged into this article, because they are all very related. Mikael Häggström (talk) 14:45, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that Primary bronchiole should be merged as I can't see any valid reason for excluding it. Terminal bronchiole and Respiratory bronchiole are separated based on function at the moment. Function has a bearing on their anatomy and particularly histology, so there is slightly more justification for separation. But I see your point, this separation could easily be achieved by maintaining separate headings on this page. Someone else could perhaps take on that task, I will merge Primary bronchiole with this page. Mellen deadrock (talk) 11:35, 16 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
