Be In Christ[edit]

The Brethren in Christ church now refers to itself as Be In Christ. Any reaon we shouldn't rename the article, with appropriate redirects? DJ Clayworth (talk) 00:44, 10 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Clayworth: No, the American version still calls it Brethren in Christ https://bicus.org, while the Canadian version renamed itself to Be in Christ https://beinchrist.ca/. Please do not conflate the two. Walter Görlitz (talk) 01:24, 10 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
OK. We definitely need to note and consider the Canadian name change and at the very least make a redirect. I'll give some thought to how we want to do this. Any suggestions? DJ Clayworth (talk) 13:50, 10 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This is an interesting case. This article is mostly about the US branch, so what may be needed is a split for the Canadian branch or a rewrite to address the difference. Walter Görlitz (talk) 18:23, 10 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This isn't a long article, so my preference is to edit (gradually) to reflect both branches, and only split if it becomes necessary. I've added appropriate redirects. DJ Clayworth (talk) 13:57, 11 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
