Citations[edit]

It would be helpful if the lists of prisoners were sourced so that they can be verified. If they all came from one source then just add a reference to the last name in the list. Otherwise the article is looking good - well done. Smartse (talk) 15:24, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm working on that. This is a very big story with lots and lots of people. I'm sure you realize that the base for this (and other articles I've been working on) are almost all from the German Wikipedia, so everything starts with a translation. The DE site, however, does things differently. They often don't use inline citations, but just lump them all at the end in a "Literatur" section, so when you bring the articles over here, it suddenly looks like you have no verifiable sources because most of them -- for these articles -- are books and many of them are only at universities because they're doctoral dissertations and then a huge number of links are just broken because they have an article but the English site doesn't. I am painstakingly trying to find other source material, but it's very hard. A lot of what I find are just pick-ups from Wikipedia. The German Resistance Memorial Center has short bios on lots, but not all of these people and I am working on linking those bios with the appropriate people listed here (where they don't have an internal wikilink). These bios are also sourced in German, but not in English. I am putting as many sources as I can find on the pages and expanding them where I can, but pretty much, it all starts with the German Wikipedia, which has a very extensive number of articles on this general subject (as one might imagine). Thanks for the compliment, btw. Marrante (talk) 22:14, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
