Concerns[edit]

Concerned that this page is heavily slighted toward cricket only. Would make sense to have a disambiguation or a section for 10-pin bowling Psycadelc (talk) 17:51, 1 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Confused about who's the no. 1[edit]

The text states that "George Lohmann holds the record for the lowest average in Test cricket". However, the table entitled "Completed Test career bowling averages" shows two players with lower averages. Further, the "Test Cricket" section states that, among others, ESPNcricinfo cites him as holding the lowest bowling average. But the source of the aforementioned table is stated as "cricinfo" and the current table at the link shows Lohmann in fourth place. So there seem to be multiple contradictions going on here. -- Hux (talk) 05:55, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Lowest Test Cricket Bowling average[edit]

Scott Boland has now bowled more than 600 balls in Test cricket and has a lower bowling average than George Lohmann. Hence the text under the photo of Lohmann is not accurate at this point in time. It may be accurate again if Boland's average deteriorates in the future or if a higher number of balls than Boland has bowled is used to set the standard. 120.21.124.212 (talk) 11:04, 18 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
