– As loath as I am to place fiction above reality, this is the clear WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, with more than 100 times the page views in the last thirty days than any other single entry on the disambig page, with the sole exception of BorgWarner, against which it has a 300% lead as opposed to a 10,000-50,000% lead. A few entries at Borg (surname) had more than 10,000 views in the last month -- O. J. Borg, Ray Borg, Flula Borg and Björn Borg -- but if we include those then Björn Borg is the clear PRIMARYTOPIC with roughly as many hits as every single other entry on both pages combined and Borg should be a redirect (full disclosure: this prospect seems silly to me, since none of these people are known as simply "Borg" out of context and no one looking for the Björn Borg article would search for "Borg", but I'm not sure of the policy on this matter). • Support, per nom. Wikipedia will be assimilated. Randy Kryn (talk) 13:31, 28 August 2018 (UTC)
  • Support. First thing I think of is Marcus Borg, but obviously out of the mainstream. Hyperbolick (talk) 13:58, 28 August 2018 (UTC)
  • Support - seems reasonable. -mattbuck (Talk) 19:20, 28 August 2018 (UTC)
  • Support per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Rreagan007 (talk) 20:34, 28 August 2018 (UTC)
  • Support as clear primary topic. Impru20talk 11:25, 30 August 2018 (UTC)
  • Oppose there is no primary encyclopaedic topic between a sci-fi race and a common surname. In ictu oculi (talk) 14:48, 31 August 2018 (UTC)
  • Support It is the primary topic. The surname is not significant enough to have an article other than a mere list, if it was I might think differently.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 15:32, 31 August 2018 (UTC)
  • Support Clear primary topic. Anyway, fiction tends to be more enduring and significant than "reality". Dimadick (talk) 05:56, 2 September 2018 (UTC)
  • Support because I cannot close as the pages are move protected, I will add a support vote instead. Dreamy Jazz 🎷 talk to me | my contributions 22:47, 4 September 2018 (UTC)

Fix the double-redirect from this page. Currently it redirects to Borg (Star Trek) which then redirects to Borg. It should just redirect to Borg. Thanks, DannyS712 (talk) 03:20, 12 September 2018 (UTC)

Done. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 07:29, 12 September 2018 (UTC)

Article tags and lack of sources

I've started to look for sources to back up some of this article's [extremely] lengthy sections, but am not coming up with much. Plenty of Blogs and opinion peieces out there, and stuff on non-canon theories, too. This article has a tag about lack of sources, and it reads like it was stolen right out of the Star Trek encyclopedia. It contains scores of statements that would normally be considered original research such as "all Borg are far stronger than humans to varying degrees" and an over-use of the phrasing, "all borg...". I am going to start making bold, sweeping edits to remove content that is not sourced and not backed up by canon. I fear what this will do to the article since it is largely made up of this material. Plurality

See Ferengi, Vulcan, Romulan, Klingon etc. All are referred to in the plural. Chaheel Riens (talk) 22:37, 31 January 2019 (UTC)
