Question[edit]

"Czortków" regiment was also disbanded and split onto two separate battalions ("Wilejka" and "Berezwecz - this looks weird, as Czortkow is located in Podole, and Wilejka and Berezwecz far in the north, in today's Belarus. Tymek (talk) 20:37, 9 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The problem with this article is that it is attempting to summarise is long article in Polish which describes a series of reorganisations. I have added some headings to help but I suspect further information will need to be translated. Isthisuseful (talk) 22:26, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

How about being a little more specific?[edit]

The Polish term 'ochrona pogranicza' could be translated as 'border protection' in the meaning of 'zabezpieczenie granic' (keeping borders safe/protected). However, both words have their counterparts in English: ochrona - security (in the historical context; it was a part of the Polish home security structures) pogranicze - borderland So, I believe that Borderland Security Corps (and the corresponding Border Security Troops, WOP) should be used instead. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.23.195.49 (talk) 09:36, 29 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
