"was" all over intro[edit]

While the company is filing for bankruptcy, it is not defunct and still will continue operations, shouldn't it then say "is" rather than was? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.157.241.211 (talk) 22:42, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Elmer's Glue[edit]

This product was/is so famous that it somehow needs to be integrated into the article. Its cartoon animal spokesman, Elmer, was also an advertising icon, the bull "husband" to Elsie the Cow, and his product (made in large part from the dairy protein casein) was easily the Borden Co.'s best-known non-food product. 2600:1004:B142:81C7:457A:2972:97E4:2735 (talk) 12:44, 27 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
