Breaking news, Newman is banned[edit]

It's not exactly breaking news if it occurred in 2005. Moreover, the linked article says the private golf club which "banned" her was one where she had played exactly once, as a guest. Jonathunder (talk) 01:30, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I looked at a lot of press releases, especially from UNH. J. Bonnie Newman is the name used. So the redirect should be to J. Bonnie Newman, not vice versa. Chergles (talk) 15:39, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The media is referring to her as "Bonnie Newman". I think that should take precedence over the press releases, not to mention that the first initial is more cumbersome. --Muboshgu (talk) 23:24, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
