I've attempted to do some copy editing on the history section, but I encourage the author to revise the entire article to make it more audience appropriate. Georgiasouthernlynn (talk) 17:39, 8 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please clarify: it appears the building was destroyed by fire in 1981, but is now in use as an artist colony. Did the fire damage without completely destroying the building?
