I'll review this article. MasterMatt12(talk) 22:29, 3 January 2023 (UTC) Other than that, I think it's fine. It's well written, adequately sourced, and I believe passes the GA article criteria. I will place it on hold so that the issues I listed can be addressed or fixed. MasterMatt12(talk) 23:26, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@MasterMatt12 Thanks! I've tried to address you concerns. Please let me know if you need anything else here. ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:38, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

::@Another Believer I recently noticed a large issue, not necessarily with the article, but with you yourself. I recently recognized that you have been doing paid editing on Portland-area restaurants, making a large amount of articles, several of them not quite notable, to promote the Portland area dining. This is a large issue, and I ask that you please disclose who is paying you, either on your userpage, this article's talk page, or in your edit summary. Because of your paid editing, I will look further in to the article, it's sources, and maintaining NPOV because of the COI. If you don't disclose who is paying you, I will most likely fail this article. MasterMatt12(talk) 21:07, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@MasterMatt12 You are misinformed as I have not "been doing paid editing on Portland-area restaurants". Where is this coming from? ---Another Believer (Talk) 21:15, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I've started a discussion here because User:Liz is an admin who is aware of some recent targeting I've experienced, especially related to Portland restaurants. I can appreciate healthy skepticism, but false accusations are not acceptable. I would ask you to please explain how you came to this conclusion and/or where you were told this lie. Also, you're more than welcome to review sources as closely as possible and/or change text however you see fit. This (defunct, remember) restaurant has not paid me to write this article. I started writing about restaurants during the COVID-19 pandemic, as I was watching the industry get decimated. I'm genuinely interested in the topic. ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:00, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@MasterMatt12: Could you possibly strike or collapse the accusation made above, please? Thanks again for sharing what information you can about the email you received. ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:11, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, sure. MasterMatt12(talk) 14:27, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:31, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

I have some concerns with the logo for Bluehour. I see in the Media data and Non-free use rationale for the logo that you didn't fill out a lot of the information or simply said N.A. in the rationale, not even filling out the Author or copyright owner. Make sure to read and fill out each section of the rationale with the needed information for it to pass the Non-free content criteria. I also have a small concern with the exterior images of the restaurant. You have 2 images of the exterior of the restaurant, both of them in 2020, would it be possible to find some unique photos to decorate the article since the two photos seem very similar. MasterMatt12(talk) 22:40, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I found two appropriately-licensed images at Flickr and uploaded both to Wikimedia Commons. The article now has four images. I've added info two two fields for the logo. I hope this addresses your concerns. ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:21, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good, I just added to it that the owner of the logo is Bluehour since it is after all their own logo. MasterMatt12(talk) 23:39, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:46, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also, after looking at your contributions and GA and FA that you've helped reach that status, I am quite impressed, and I hope I can be as good of a contributor to Wikipedia as you are. I think you should apply to become an administrator with the amount of time and work you've done for Wikipedia, I would definitely vote yes for you. MasterMatt12(talk) 23:49, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I appreciate your kind words very much. I've been asked to be an admin many times, but I've never been too concerned with earning this status. Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:51, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Anyways, I am going to leave this on hold until the Guild of Copy Editors copy edit this article. I will leave this article on hold for up to 2 weeks for them to hopefully copy edit this article, and then after they do so, I will promote it. However, if they don't copy edit it in that time frame, I will most likely promote it anyways, but would prefer this article to be as good as possible before reaching GA status. MasterMatt12(talk) 23:57, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Oh! I certainly don't have a problem with waiting, but I would not expect this article to receive a copy edit within two weeks. I have to wait until one of the requests in the queue is picked up in order to submit a second. The Bluehour request is unlikely to be picked up immediately, but, I do intend to nominate as soon as possible. (If you look at the Talk pages of the GAs/FAs I've promoted, you'll see I almost always request a copy edit.) If there are any specific sentences or issues I can fix in the meantime, please let me know (or feel free to make improvements as you see fit). Thanks again! ---Another Believer (Talk) 00:01, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Alright sounds good. MasterMatt12(talk) 00:08, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Reception[edit]

I have some concerns with the reception. I see in it that it is only positive reviews, none negative, showing a possible bias and it not being written in NPOV. I have found some sources to add some negative reviews to show a more broad view of the restaurant, but I would recommend trying to find some more yourself. https://portlandfoodanddrink.com/all-three-saucebox-pieces-together/ https://www.wweek.com/restaurants/2020/03/26/former-employees-say-a-portland-restaurateur-withheld-wages-on-their-final-check/ MasterMatt12(talk) 22:45, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'd say the restaurant had an overwhelmingly positive reception so I'd be shocked to find much negative coverage to fold into the mix. I tried to be as fair as possible based on sourcing and I'd welcome text changes if negative coverage can be identified. I would not consider PortlandFoodandDrink.com a reliable source. I've added a sentence about the employee paycheck deferral. I hope this helps! ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:32, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds good, I can understand why you can't add many negative reviews since not much exist. MasterMatt12(talk) 23:39, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Grammar[edit]

Just a few grammar issues I found. I'm a bit confused here whether you want to combine the sentences or not, in the text it says "Bluehour garnered a positive reception and was described by Michael J. Rosen as "nationally acclaimed". Considered a place "to see and be seen" and recommended in many guide books for the region, the restaurant was among Portland's most expensive." I'm not sure whether you want it to be ",considered a place "to see..." or ".It is also considered a place "to see..." Pot de creme needs a diacritic above the first e, so that it is spelled like this; pot de crème. MasterMatt12(talk) 23:03, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Better? Also, I've changed the link/text to Pot de crème. By the way, I will be submitting a request for a copy by the Guild of Copy Editors, as soon as possible. I can only nominate two at a time and this one's next in line. ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:37, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Links[edit]

I saw that you added links to food like gnocchi and sturgeon, but didn't add links to a lot of other foods that may not be known to the casual reader. Because of this, I added links to a lot of other foods listed in the menu section that I believe could be useful to the casual reader who may not know what the food is and also to maintain consistency. I also saw you had links to French and Italian, but not a lot of other ethnicities like American and European. Because of this, I also added links to those ethnicities to keep consistency. Please review the links and change any that you think should be removed or changed to different articles. MasterMatt12(talk) 23:02, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:37, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
