This could be made a subsection of papers specific varieties (with appropriate redirects) if this is felt more appropriate.

I think its ok for an article by itself. There is quite a bit to say interms of how its manufactured etc. Justinc 22:17, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think that a more general example of blotting paper should be shown, not LSD paper specifically!! it's true it is used for it, but it's not just used for it. change the image for another showing blotting paper without LSD, that image should be moved to the LSD article. My son's science project calls for "blotting paper". The project is to make a battery. I need to know what the paper is made of in order to assure the conductivity of electricity is not effected. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.35.87.250 (talk) 23:56, 6 May 2008 (UTC) yeah[reply]

I have made a flower pressbut can't find a store that sells blotting paper. I have tried office supply stores, craft stores, discount department stores and one commercial paper company. The paper must be absorbent, like a paper towel. It should also be smooth so the flowers don't tear when they are removed.Kordeelia (talk) 18:58, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If traditional blotter paper can't be located, commonly accquired watercolor paper is almost exactly the same thing, and its absorption is as good if not better than blotter depending on the quality.Cocoanatta (talk) 15:12, 6 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
