Bleeding within the final image[edit]
I believe ‘bleeding’ also refers to the practice of enlarging (bleeding) the filled area of a lighter colour/ink to avoid gaps due to registration error. E.g. when printing a picture of a yellow circle on a black background, one might use a larger yellow circle than the hole in the black region, so that if yellow and black layers aren't aligned (but are misaligned by less than the width of bleeding used) then the hole in the black region is still completely within the yellow circle, so there's no white gap between the edge of the yellow circle and the edge of the black region. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pjrm (talk • contribs) 08:51, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Bleed information?[edit]
Does anyone know what "elements" this refers to? Is it simply the bleed? Or bleed marks? Or explicitly stated bleed dimensions? It seems to be talking simply about the bleed, which is redundant. — Marvose (talk) 19:27, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
Invisible image[edit]
