personal involvement[edit]

I am personally involved with Bitzi, but think the evolution of the article has left it a bit unfocused/incoherent, making it look more promotional than useful as a reference work. I will make some bold edits to improve, and then perhaps the notability will be more clear. Gojomo 05:34, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for mentioning this. Nevertheless I think you have applied great care in avoiding any biased/promotional style/language. Plus, I would recommend undoing the removal of the application's logo. It's honourable, that you thought of its promotional aspect, but having a picture/screenshot/logo for information purposes is standard here on Wikipedia. (Besides, I added a title to your talk section, if you don't like the title pleas change it). --boarders paradise (talk) 23:26, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bitcollider[edit]

Please don't remove the link to Bitcollider. Any Norton findings regarding malware are false positives. Not only are Sourceforge projects sufficiently checked against malware, but the absence of malware can also be verified by submitting Bitcollider's binaries to a website offering a multiple-program virus check, such as virustotal.com. --boarders paradise (talk) 00:12, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Shutdown[edit]

Looking at the http://bitzi.com/ website, they appear to have shutdown. I have amended the article to reflect this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Craig Mayhew (talkcontribs) 17:01, 27 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
