Bishops Castle[edit]

With regard to undo of the edit by 88.109.56.207 at 17:37, 2 February 2009, the castle at Bishop's Castle was first built by Robert Losinga in 1087. Given that the castle has not been usable since the early 17th century and has not existed even as a ruin since the 18th century, and that it was never used or intended as an episcopal residence, it does not seem relevant to an article about the office of the bishop. Robert Bennet[edit]

According to the ODNB, Robert Bennet (bishop) died 25 October but according to this list he died 20 October. The ODNB ref is in the linked article; the Crockford citation in this list is silent and the Fryde source is not accessible to me. Can someone please check Fryde. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 07:12, 2 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Fryde, et al. p. 251 "Robert Bennett nom. 7 Jan, cons. 20 Feb. 1603. died 20 Oct 1617." Ealdgyth - Talk 13:25, 2 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
